Dear Members of the Bucks MC,
On behalf of Project R.E.A.L., a program of the Visiting Nurse Association Health Group’s Prevention Resource Network dedicated to HlV prevention and queer empowerment. I want to extend our deepest gratitude for your incredibly generous donation of $9,106. Your commitment to supporting our community makes a real and lasting difference in the Lives of our participants.
Your contribution has been directly invested in enhancing the experiences and well-being of those we serve. The most consistent use of the funds was to provide meals for our participants; both for our special events and for the day-to-day meals and snacks that help create a welcoming, nourishing space. A significant portion also supported event supplies for a variety of activities,
including: open mic nights, drag make-up sessions, art workshops, movie nights, cooking classes, and game nights.
Thanks to your generosity, we were also able to organize enriching experiences outside our center, such as beach days, movie nights, trips to the boardwalk, as well as joining in celebrating Jersey Pride together.
ln addition, your donation allowed us to invest in infrastructure that improves our participants’ comfort and access to resources. This included replacing our chairs which were beginning to break, upgrading storage for better organization and utilization of existing supplies, adding fans for
comfort, and providing capacity to construct digital photo and video creation together.
Your support empowers us to continue fostering a safe, affirming, and vibrant environment for the LGBTQ+ community in Asbury Park. We are truly honored to have the Bucks Motorcycle Club as a partner in this work, and we deeply appreciate your trust in our mission.
With sincere thanks,
Eric Wuethrich, MPH, (he/him)
